These terms govern your use of greatservice.com and the text messages we exchange with you. By using the website or by texting with us, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Summit Technology, LLC ("Summit," "we," "us," or "our") is a Utah limited liability company at 50 West Broadway, Suite B350, Salt Lake City, UT 84101.
These terms cover two things: your use of this website, and our text messaging program.
These terms do not cover the services we sell. If Summit provides you managed IT, licensing, infrastructure, cabling, or any other service, that work is governed by the Master Services Agreement and service addendums you signed with us. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed agreement, your signed agreement wins. Nothing on this page changes the warranties, service levels, or limitations of liability in your contract, and nothing on this page creates a service relationship that your contract does not already create.
Browsing this website does not make you a client, and nothing here is an offer, a quote, or technical advice you should act on without talking to us.
You may use this website for legitimate business purposes. You may not:
We may suspend or block access to anyone who does these things, and we will report criminal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Some clients have accounts on our portal. If you have one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for enabling multifactor authentication when we offer it, and for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately at info@greatservice.com if you think your account has been compromised.
This section describes Summit's SMS program. Read it before you consent.
Summit operates a customer service and account notification messaging program. We use it to respond to your support requests, send updates on open service tickets, confirm scheduled work and technician arrival, send account and billing notices, and reach you about service-affecting events such as an outage or a maintenance window.
This program is transactional. We do not use it to send marketing or promotional messages.
We only text you if you gave us permission. You can give it by:
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to text messages to buy anything from us or to receive support. Phone and email work exactly the same way.
We keep a record of when, how, and through which channel you consented, and we keep it for as long as we message you plus four years.
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with us. Most people receive messages only when they have an open service ticket or a scheduled visit. A typical support ticket generates between 1 and 10 messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Summit does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. We will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and then we will stop.
Opting out of texts does not close your ticket or cancel your service. We will simply reach you by phone or email instead. To start messages again, text START to the same number or ask any Summit team member.
Reply HELP to any message, and we will reply with the program name and how to reach us. You can also call 801.441.GRID (4743) or email info@greatservice.com.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your coverage, none of which we control. Do not rely on text messages for emergencies. If your issue is urgent, call us.
Tell us if your mobile number changes or if you give up a number you previously gave us. Keeping that current is how we avoid texting a stranger who inherited your old number.
How we handle your mobile information is described in our Privacy Policy. The short version: we do not sell mobile information, and mobile information will not be shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, the Summit Technology name, the GRID name, Agility 365, Inspect 365, and our site design, belongs to Summit or our licensors. You may read it, print it, and share links to it. You may not republish it, sell it, or use it to promote another business without our written permission.
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything for them. Please do not send us confidential information through a web form.
We link to third-party websites when they are useful. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Read their terms and their privacy policies before you use them.
We work to keep this website available and accurate, but we do not promise either. The site is provided as it is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and content may become out of date. Pricing, service descriptions, and technical information on this site are for general reference and are superseded by your signed agreement and any written quote.
To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement for the website only. Warranties covering our services are in your Master Services Agreement, and nothing in this section reduces them.
To the extent the law allows, Summit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, and our total liability for any claim relating to this website will not exceed $100.
This section applies to the website and the messaging program only. Liability for our services is governed by your Master Services Agreement, which controls in every case and is not modified, capped, or reduced by anything on this page.
Some states do not allow these limits. If yours does not, they apply to you only as far as that state permits.
If you misuse this website, break these terms, or violate someone else's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and claims that result. We will tell you promptly if a claim comes in, and we will let you control the defense of it.
Utah law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about this website or the messaging program go to the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah, and both of us agree to that venue. Disputes about our services follow the dispute process in your Master Services Agreement instead.
We update the "Last updated" date when we change these terms. Significant changes to the messaging program get posted here at least 30 days before they take effect, and we notify current message recipients by text or email. Continuing to use the site or the messaging program after that means you accept the change.
If a court strikes part of these terms, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, plus our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement about your use of this website and the messaging program. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours if our business is sold or reorganized.
